International Trade Compliance (ITC) Manager – Europe
We are seeking for our multinational customer qualified candidates for the position of International Trade Compliance (ITC) Manager – Europe, responsible for ensuring company’s compliance program meets all applicable governmental rules and regulations.
This is located in the Monza (near Milan), Brussels or London office.
Job Purpose:
The position will implement and maintain policies & internal management systems to include, but not limited to; procedures, internal controls auditing & training to ensure that employees understand & follow targeted legal principles involving domestic and foreign trade laws.
Essential Functions:
Regional International Trade Compliance Program Management:
- Remain up-to-date in all aspects of international trade compliance including coordination and alignment with Corporate ITC department and US ITC requirements.
- Act as the primary Europe ITC point of contact for the US parent company and European hub.
- Coordinate a team of ITC liaisons within each site/office/dealer.
- Ensure that information regarding all areas of ITC is sufficiently communicated where appropriate.
- Coordinate training and auditing for the regional sites with the Corporate ITC department and maintain records as required.
- Consult with local government agencies or outside consultants when necessary
- Maintain a Regional ITC Intranet Portal.
Development and Maintenance of an Import/Export Management System:
- Implement, maintain and audit an Import/Export Management Systems at each site.
- Ensure export transactions have appropriate export documents for hardware, software and technology
- Monitor and audit Denied Parties list and product/license determination through automated customer screening program.
- Prepare and file necessary license applications for the export of controlled goods according to local laws and regulations.
- Ensure the accuracy of required import and export information to local, international, and US regulations:
- Product classifications (HTS and ECCN), Dual-use export controls, Customer screening, Other Government Agency releases
- Supervise regional day-to-day import and export issues as they arise.
- Support and work with the Supply-chain and Logistics departments to establish compliant processes and procedure while expediting PKI orders to the customer.
- Recordkeeping - retain import and export documentation based on country specific regulations.
Design, conduct and maintain export compliance training program throughout the organization providing each employee with the necessary compliance tools and skills to their specific job function:
- Provide internal training of current and new staff on their responsibilities under international and local laws and PKI’s Import/Export Management Systems.
- Maintain current knowledge of local, regional and US ITC regulations through third-party training and consulting.
Desired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent project management, communications and presentation skills.
- Must have solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface at all levels.
- Team player with ability to supervise a direct or dotted line team.
- Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally to the US.
